Nature Prints
Hello and welcome!
With this writing blog, I want to portray Nature in its beauty and richness creating a bridge between people and the natural world. The stories come from my personal experiences and I write them from an also non-human perspective. I present nature in its beauty, wonders and mysteries but also address our relationship with it and how we can improve it. Hopefully, you will enjoy the readings and take with you some great impressions and strong motivation for conserving the environment around us and also have some fun along the way.
Dive in!
Dear Visitor,
the World Ocean Day has been organized by United Nations since 1992 and takes place on June 8 every year to remind people about the importance of our oceans.
With this "Art Exhibition 30x30", I want to spread this awareness and help reach the current goal of protecting 30% of our world ocean by 2030 (30x30).
Everyone is welcome to like and view all submitted art. After June 8, twelve pieces with the highest liking rate will be printed onto calendars that will be sold as a fundraiser for the World Ocean Day organization.
You are very welcome to take part!
Wake up the artist in you and submit any ocean-related art you like to this exhibition. It can be a beautiful painting, a drawing, a video, ceramics, a photograph, music, a poem, any crafting, or even your favourite vegetarian dish! Whatever it is, put it on and help us spread understanding about how important it is to take care of our oceans. You can also add text to your art and share thoughts, opinions or just add a description of your piece.
Also, I want to encourage you to sign the petition where you are telling the world leaders that you want them to take immediate action to protect the oceans and therefore the life-supporting system of the planet.
Furthermore, you can be part of the solution to healthier oceans by purchasing an "Ocean bottle" with which you help to remove 11.4kg of plastic from the oceans. And, if you are interested in the current actions for healthier oceans, have a look at COP26 (“Conference of the Parties”) which refers to the decision-making body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). We know that when the world works together we can tackle any crucial challenge.
Thank You and Enjoy!
